Woodside Tankfreight Acquires Montgomery Tank Services Business

We are delighted to announce that Woodside Tankfreight has agreed to acquire the Montgomery Tank Services business, with completion effective on Friday 28th August 2026.

Montgomery Tank Services is a long-established bulk tanker transport business, specialising in the transportation of bulk liquids and powders throughout the UK and Ireland.

This acquisition, combined with recent fleet investment, will add a further 50 trucks and 100 tankers to the Woodside Tankfreight operation.

These investments represent another important step in our strategic growth, strengthening Woodside Tankfreight’s specialist tank transport capabilities across the UK and Ireland. The increased capacity enhances the range, scale and flexibility of solutions we can offer customers across the food, chemical and industrial sectors.
