Role Summary

To complete damage appraisals, collections and deliveries of vehicles using trade plates in an efficient manner, ensuring all paperwork and electronic documentation is completed to a high standard and providing an excellent level of customer service.

Role Description

To ensure all paperwork and electronic documentation is completed accurately, including additional vehicle condition reports, signed by the relevant parties in the appropriate places, and submitted where necessary, this will also include the use and management of a hand held electronic device.  You will inspect thoroughly all vehicles for damage, wear and tear, mileage and shortages, and make notations on the relevant paperwork. You will then ensure that damage is countersigned by the contact person at the collection point.

You may on occasion be required to prepare demonstration vehicles for delivery to customers. This will include washing the exterior of vehicles, cleaning the interior, and fuelling if required.

Essential Criteria

Experience in hand held devices for recording of signatures and information

Excellent attention to detail

Team player

Strong communication and administration skills 

Organised and methodical approach

Full driving license 

Desirable criteria

Previous experience in a similar role

Ability to deal with sensitive customer circumstances
