Quality
The Woodside Group has held ISO 9001 for over fifteen years. This certification covers all Group companies across all sites/depots.
ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses. It applies to the processes that create and control the services an organisation such as The Woodside Group supplies. It prescribes systematic control of activities to ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are met and exceeded. Fundamentally it provides continual improvement across all activities.
ISO9001 provides the following benefits:

Training
The Woodside Group employs five driver trainers to continually assess and improve safe driving techniques and driver performance.
All Woodside vehicles are fitted with a tracking and telemetry system which records driving style and enables the trainers and managers to monitor all drivers continually. Twenty four hour tracking ensures that planners know the location of all vehicles at all times.
All staff have a training plan appropriate to their role and training records are completed and held for each member of staff. This training covers many aspects and can be either internally or externally taught - fork lifts, manual handling, first aid, IT, CPC.
