Over the last 40 years Woodside Haulage has specialized in the transport of full and part loads between Great Britain and Ireland. Our Irish Sea services are complimented by a European unit load and groupage service.
General Haulage is the core activity within Woodside Haulage and accounts for 50% of turnover within the Woodside Group. Our customer base includes household names from UK and Irish blue chip companies and multinational Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) customers. We have been trading with some of our customers for four decades. The Woodside Haulage commitment to market leading service levels combined with the flexibility to meet the customers needs every time has resulted in long term relationships with our customers leading to consistent and sustainable growth.
To service our customers we operate a modern fleet of 120 trucks. Many of these vehicles are operated 24 hours a day enabling us to service customers needs around the clock. Our trailers fleet is of varying internal heights and specifications and many have specific fittings. Many of our 400 trailers are less than 3 years old and the entire fleet is subject to a strict maintenance program to ensure they are in excellent condition. We also operate walking floor trailers within our fleet for the transport of bulk product such as wood chip, wood pellets, bulk peat and scrap metal.
When Woodside Haulage transport your goods you can be assured that it is done on Woodside owned equipment driven by well trained drivers managed by a professional team. We do not employ sub contractors.
