Transport and Logistics Services
The Woodside Group of Companies provides a broad range of transport and logistics services throughout Ireland, the U.K. and Europe. The company was established in 1967 by the Woodside family and is still wholly family owned and managed. The core focus has always been, and continues to be, meeting and surpassing customer expectations.
The four main companies in the Group operate independently of each other but combine their activities to offer clients a comprehensive and bespoke transport and logistics service.
The activities of the companies are as follows:
Woodside Haulage Ltd
Our general haulage division, established in 1967, provides full load, dry freight transport services to a vast array of manufacturers, retailers and industry.
Woodside Distribution Ltd
Our groupage, distribution and warehousing division, established in 1993, caters for single pallet and part load distribution and pallet storage.
Woodside Motorfreight Ltd
Established in 1974, Motorfreight provides vehicle transport, vehicle storage and fleet management solutions to the motor industry. Technical services such as PDI (pre-delivery inspection) are also available.
Haulage Services Ltd
Our tanker division was acquired in 1996 and provides transport solutions for bulk powder, bulk gas, bulk liquid and bulk glass. Self discharge units (SDU�s) and evacuation vacuum tanks are also available.
We take our responsibility toward the environment very seriously. Having achieved ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality standards our operations are independently audited to ensure we comply with European standards thus minimising our environmental impact.
